1 Introduction

Haitongda HPHT Linear Swell Meter, Model HTP-2A is used to test the hydration and expansion characteristics of shale under the condition of simulating well temperature and pressure difference. It adopts double structure, can simultaneously carry out a single sample of the test, a test to obtain a variety of data, greatly improve the efficiency, and the use of computer data collection, so as to ensure more stable performance, can be used for high temperature, high pressure, can also be used for room temperature, atmospheric pressure.

2 Features and Specifications 

The instrument is mainly composed of cover box, heating body, core cup, liquid cup, pressurizing manifold, computer, software and printer, etc., as shown in Figure3-1. The structure of the core cup is shown in Figure3-2. Specifications for the LSM are listed in Table 3-1.
