On October 31, the daily production of shale gas of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company reached 40.27 million cubic meters, another record high.

Since the beginning of this year, in the face of challenges such as the decline rate of deep old Wells in southern Sichuan shale gas is higher than expected, the transformation time of Luzhou deep shale gas is low, and the set is becoming complicated, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company has focused on the three main lines of "tapping the potential of old Wells to stabilize production, fast construction and investment of new Wells, and new layer exploration and evaluation", strengthened the operation guarantee of production organization, and pushed the arrow of shale gas production to continue to rise.

The dynamic tracking and production optimization model of "online analysis of production characteristics + early warning of production anomalies + remote execution of production tuning + on-site tracking" is fully promoted. Relying on the intelligent management platform of gas production process, the production situation of old Wells has been deeply explored, the promotion and application of large-scale measures have been accelerated, and composite processes such as "multi-stage pressurization + bubble drainage" and "circulating gas lift + plunger" have been promoted on more than 20 platforms, and more than 10 lying flat Wells have been resumed. During the year, measures were implemented to operate more than 40,000 Wells, and the monthly production decline of old Wells was reduced from 7.0% to 2.9%, and the stable production foundation was continuously consolidated.

Focusing on the coordinated efforts of management and technology, the company continued to research special technologies for speeding up drilling in the upper well segment, promoted the advanced experience of "daily fee system" and "combined pipe total contract", and achieved the proportion of "one trip drilling" exceeding 40%, the drilling cycle was shortened by more than 8% compared with 2023, and the daily penetration was up to 700 meters, setting a new record high in the history of deep shale gas in southern Sichuan. The mechanism of casing variation and pressure channeling was systematically studied to form key technologies for complex prediction, early warning and management. The deep casing variation decreased to 24.2%, and the average EUR of new Wells in deep Wells increased.

In accordance with the overall idea of "accelerating progress, serious responsibility, and strict control of the process", the company has set up a special class to accelerate the work of new layers of shale gas, clarify each link, and shorten the implementation cycle. Accelerate the implementation of core production areas of QZS group, and do a good job in the implementation of exploration and evaluation Wells and pilot test Wells; The high-yield well cultivation model of WJP group was initially formed, and on the basis of further summarizing the implementation experience of Daye 1H well, the test gas production record of Da201 well was achieved, which further confirmed the development potential of new formations.

In the next step, the company will continue to focus on the production targets in 2024 and 2025 and strive to win the new battle of 50 billion cubic meters.
