The Development of a Green, Safe and Efficient New Energy System Was Accelerated

From December 19 to 20, the "China Heart" 2025 annual Power Day, hosted by "Automobile and Sports" magazine, was held in Tianjin Zhongqi Research Institute of Automotive Engineering. Experts and business representatives at the meeting believe that under the "double carbon" goal and the tide of automobile electrification and intelligent technology, China's automobile power has entered a period of diversified development of technological innovation and product iteration, which has put forward new demands and challenges for the type, performance, dosage and filling method of energy.

In recent years, China's automotive power technology line has blossomed, from hybrid, pure electric to extended range, plug-in mixing, to meet the diversified market demand. Automobile manufacturers continue to optimize and upgrade power technology, actively explore the diversification of fuel systems, and widely use low-carbon and zero-carbon clean fuels represented by electronic synthetic fuels, methanol, hydrogen and ammonia, to promote the green transformation and development of China's automobile industry.

"The future of vehicle energy will be dominated by electric energy. Cleaner fuels such as natural gas, methanol and hydrogen will also be better used in regions with resource endowments." Zhao Lijin, deputy secretary-general of the China Society of Automotive Engineering, believes that it is an inevitable trend for energy companies to actively seek diversified development, and suggests accelerating the planning and construction of a green, safe and efficient energy system that matches the demand of the automotive market.

Data show that from January to November, the total production and sales of new energy vehicles in China completed 11.35 million and 11.26 million, an increase of 34.6% and 35.6% respectively. Sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 40.3% of the total sales of new vehicles.

Experts at the meeting said that in the face of the rapid development of new energy vehicles, the energy side needs to further improve the management of the distribution network, and targeted to improve the network connection capacity of new energy vehicle charging facilities. "The state and local governments continue to accelerate the development of high-power charging technology and facility construction. At present, high-power charging equipment enterprises have formed a variety of mature solution routes such as liquid cooling, isolated air cooling, and traditional air cooling, which greatly improves the charging experience of consumers." Zhao Lijin said.

At the "China Heart" annual Power Day 2025, 10 technical experts from FAW Hongqi, BYD Automobile, Changan Automobile and other enterprises discussed the theme of "plug-in technology development ideas and trends" and "extended range and pure electric differentiation development pattern".

In view of the development route of automotive power technology, Wang Yuling, senior engineer of petrochina Lanzhou Lubricating Oil Research and Development Center, believes that the lubricating oil products of electric vehicles will mainly develop in the direction of long life and high transmission efficiency in the future, and put forward higher requirements for insulation, cooling, material compatibility and other aspects. She said: "At present, Kunlun lubrication independent research and development, production of lithium diaphragm special oil, has been the first wet diaphragm production enterprise in the country successfully. Kunlun 75W-90 long-life electric drive gear oil has achieved technical access and batch sales in a number of independent brand commercial vehicles, successfully breaking the monopoly of foreign brands on the light electric drive bridge oil market."
