Ethane Recovery Unit in the Western Exploration Area of Jidong Oilfield Was Put Into Operation

On May 9th, with the valve of the dehydration device and the ethane recovery device slowly opened, the ethane recovery device of Jiaxian natural gas treatment plant in the western exploration area of Jidong Oilfield was officially put into operation.

The construction of the ethane recovery plant of Jiaxian natural gas treatment plant in the western exploration area of Jidong Oilfield took only 14 months, setting a record of the shortest construction period of a similar deethane plant in China. Ethane recovery device using Chinese petroleum independent intellectual property rights, the international advanced level of ethane recovery technology, and the first application of 10 million cubic meters per day of domestic gas expander technology, the fastest domestic similar oil and gas construction project, the least, the most perfect process, the best energy consumption index and so on many records. Jiaxian natural gas treatment plant is an important part of the production capacity construction in the south area of Shenmu Gas Field in Jidong Oilfield. Faced with the challenges such as complex working conditions and tight construction period, thousands of project builders overcame the difficulties such as high temperature, heavy sand and heavy rain, and completed the construction tasks with high quality.

The formal operation of the ethane recovery device of Jiaxian natural gas treatment plant in the western exploration area of Jidong Oilfield has realized the deep utilization of natural gas resources, and added new impetus to the "one body, two wings and two supports, and multi-regional coordinated development" of Jidong Oilfield.
