Jidong Oilfield Gas Storage Integrity Standard Has Passed the Review
On September 4, the Evaluation Regulations for the Integrity of Reservoir Gas Storage (referred to as the Evaluation Regulations), led by Jidong Oilfield, was approved by the expert group of the Standardization Technical Committee of China Gas Storage, filling the blank of the integrity management standard of domestic gas storage. This marks that Jidong oilfield is gradually leading in the field of reservoir construction.
The Evaluation Regulation was approved by the National Energy Administration in June this year. It is the first industry standard for the integrity evaluation of gas storage in China, and also a guiding program for the integrity management of gas storage. The standard stipulates the contents, methods and requirements of the whole life cycle integrity evaluation of reservoir gas storage from construction period, wellbore engineering and ground system construction, risk identification, integrity inspection (supervision) and evaluation of geological body, wellbore and ground system, and pressure control system during the operation period.
The construction of gas storage group in Jidong oilfield is the initiative of Jidong oilfield to give full play to its geographical and geological advantages to help the energy security and ecological security of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. In the past two years, the oilfield has focused on the reservoir construction, strengthened key technology breakthroughs, strengthened basic research, continuously promoted the preliminary evaluation, pilot test, feasibility study, preliminary design and other scheme research, and vigorously promoted the implementation of tracking evaluation of mines, laying a solid foundation for the construction of gas storage. Up to now, the daily gas injection capacity of Nanpu No.1 gas storage in Jidong Oilfield has been increased to 1.43 million cubic meters, and the gas storage has accumulated 105 million cubic meters.
