In order to speed up the high-quality development of old oil field transformation and upgrading, on March 30, Dagang Oil Field fully deployed the overall work of "five transformations" of green, intelligent, lean, market-oriented and integrated, and forged ahead to the goal of "building a modern century-old oil field with a long-term foundation".

With the industrial oil flow of the Rigang5 well on December 20, 1964, Dagang Oilfield was born, becoming the third oil field independently developed and constructed by the People's Republic of China after Daqing and Shengli, and has been divided into North China, Bohai Sea, Jidong and other oil and gas fields, and the annual output of crude oil in the self-operating area has been stable for a long time at about 4 million tons.

In the past 60 years of development and construction, Dagang oilmen have carried out practical exploration of oil and gas exploration in the geological "maze" with broken structures and variable reservoirs, successively created China's first offshore production well, the first artificial island, the first gas storage, the first 100,000 ton continental shale oil efficiency development demonstration platform and other domestic or industry first. It has made important contributions to ensuring national energy security and national economic and social development.

In recent years, under the guidance of Dagang's characteristic oil culture with the core of "dry revolution on saline-alkali flats and oil production in small fragments", Dagang Oilfield has actively built a new pattern of high-quality development of "one body and two wings" with oil and gas exploration and development as the main body, new energy and gas storage business flying together. Exploration and development has presented a good situation of "both land and sea, and often go hand in hand". It has 16 advantageous and characteristic technologies such as continental shale oil enrichment theory and dessert evaluation in faulted basins, all of which are at the leading level in China.

To give full play to its advantages in location, resources and technology, Dagang Oilfield has developed non-fossil energy such as wind, light, electricity and heat on a large scale, built a multi-energy complementary "smart zero carbon park" of "geothermal + photovoltaic + energy storage" in a three-dimensional way, built the largest shallow geothermal heating project cluster of petrochina, and put into operation the first pilot test power station for energy storage with iron-sodium phosphate batteries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. In 2023, the equivalent of new energy production capacity will reach 112,400 tons of standard oil, and it is expected to reach more than 500,000 tons of standard oil in 2030.

The Dagang oil field gas reservoir group is the regional gas source with the largest working gas volume and the fastest effect in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Up to now, 23 production periods of natural gas supply tasks have been completed. In order to maximize the livelihood of the people's gas, Dagang Oilfield has fully launched the "three-year action plan" of 5 billion cubic meters of working gas, based on the principle of "large reservoir and station, large export and large import, collaborative oil production and scale development", accelerated the research and construction of reserve reservoir, and continued to contribute to the green and low-carbon development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

At present, Dagang Oilfield aims at the national "dual carbon" goal, accelerates the development of new quality productivity with the "five transformation" as the path, strongly promotes the steady rise of crude oil production, the rapid growth of natural gas production, and actively layout strategic emerging industries such as wind power, sodium ion energy storage and future industries such as hydrogen energy. It is expected that by 2030, the oil and gas production equivalent will rise to 5 million tons. We will strive to build a new plateau of ten million tons of comprehensive energy and build a modern century-old oil field based on the evergreen industry.
