Dagang Oilfield "Side Attack" to Activate the Old Area Reservoir

As of April 28, the side drilling well 2-6.1K in Block 7, Gangdong District 2, Dagang Oilfield has maintained an oil daily output of more than 10 tons for 68 consecutive days, marking the re-activation of the reservoir in the old area with high water content.

After more than 40 years of development, the water content of Block 7 of the second District of Gangdong has reached 95.2%, which has entered the late stage of "double high" development. In order to further tap the remaining oil potential in the old area, the researchers of the Research Institute of Exploration and Development of Dagang Oilfield actively rely on side-drilling technology to make benefit papers in low-efficiency Wells and long shutdowns to improve the recovery rate of old Wells. Around the "ten re-understanding", the researchers will work into small fragments, refine the reservoir potential to a single sand layer, establish the injection and production well pattern in a single sand body, through the integration of "well, earthquake and reservoir" analysis, further implement the fault distribution and oil-bearing sand body distribution range, and explore more than 60 old Wells.

In order to ensure that the output of the oil well is stable and stable, and realize the benefit development, the researchers highlight the innovation-driven and benefit-oriented management, pay attention to lean management in the whole process, and adopt comprehensive measures such as directional updating of side drilling and synchronous improvement of injection-production well patterns. The ground position of Block 7 of Zone 2 is in the flood discharge area, and the ground construction of the well site is limited. The researchers adhere to the optimization and adjustment of the program, coordinated and integrated operation, maximize the use of the original shaft, the original well site and the surface system, reduce the cost of materials, construction costs and other costs, save 26% to 30% of the investment cost, achieve lightweight production capacity construction, and consolidate the foundation of side drilling efficiency and production.
