On May 20, the author learned that the three-dimensional seismic exploration project in the Yilongnan area of Dachuanzhong, Sichuan Basin was successfully completed, marking the high quality and efficient completion of the two integrated "Twin Star" projects in the Dachuanzhong area in 2024.


Nanchong area, shallow, middle and deep Marine Permian, continental shale oil and tight gas, exploration potential is huge. In order to achieve further breakthroughs in this area, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company has arranged two 3D seismic exploration projects in Nanchong, middle Sichuan Basin, and Yilongnan, middle Dachuan, Sichuan Basin, aiming at "three-dimensional exploration" of multi-layer systems.


The complex geological structure in this area restricts and interferes with oil and gas exploration and development. Southwest Geophysical Exploration Branch is problem-oriented, vigorously develop new quality productivity, and realize the overall improvement of production efficiency and data quality.


In order to make full use of the advantages of high mudstone excitation conductivity and less interference, Geophysical Prospecting Team 202 innovatively applied lithology survey method to drilling core for the first time in seismic exploration, and performed accurate geological horizon profile, solving the problem of accurate positioning caused by thin longitudinal horizon and rapid lateral change of mudstone, and achieving high-quality improvement of excitation effect.


In the construction process, the Southwest Geophysical Exploration Branch adopts the "brain + intelligence" mode to input geological conditions and construction information in real time, and applies the intelligent seismic team comprehensive data system independently developed by the Eastern Geophysical Exploration Company to implement all-weather real-time monitoring, identify potential problems, and promote the transformation of construction plan accuracy from the circumference to the sky. Key processes such as arrangement, dosing and other links are refined to the second level, which greatly improves the working efficiency.


Faced with the challenge of "narrow acquisition time window" in the busy urban area of the project, Southwest Geophysical Exploration Branch innovatively applied vibroseis USM technology for the first time to realize the signal transmission of the project's 4G network. And through the combination of well gun and source excitation, optimize the time and space operation timing, break through the traditional independent well earthquake construction mode, realize the seamless connection of well gun and source construction, and significantly improve the quality of results.
