Global Demand for Crude Oil This Year is Unchanged at 2.4m Barrels A Day

Opec Monthly Report: Global crude oil demand growth this year remains unchanged at 2.4 million barrels per day.

On September 12, local time, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) released a monthly report saying that the growth rate of global crude oil demand in 2023 will remain unchanged at 2.4 million barrels per day.

The monthly report showed that Saudi Arabia extended production cuts, but the increase in Iranian production was partially offset by Saudi Arabia's production cuts; August crude oil production between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) and non-OPEC producers edged up 60,000 barrels per day from the previous month to 40.76 million barrels per day, leaving a supply gap of 3 million barrels per day.
