All the Key Technologies of 8000 m Oil Test and Completion in Tarim Oilfield Have been Replaced by Domestic Production
As of October 22, more than 150 Wells in the 1 billion ton Fuman oil area of Tarim Oilfield have been completed and tested with key downhole tools such as domestic safety valves and sealers.
At present, the oil field has formed 9 categories of 36 items of domestic key technologies and tools and equipment for oil testing and completion, and successfully applied more than 600 Wells in the ultra-deep field of 8000 meters, helping China's ultra-deep oil testing and completion key technologies to reach the international advanced level.
Tarim Oilfield is the largest ultra-deep oil and gas field in China. The average drilling depth exceeded 7,000 meters for the first time last year, and the oil and gas reserves obtained from ultra-deep depth accounted for more than 90% and the annual oil and gas production accounted for more than 56%. Up to now, the number of Wells drilled 8,000 meters deep in Tarim Oilfield has exceeded 110, and the fastest time in the country to find oil and gas in the "underground Everest".
The key technology and tool equipment of ultra-deep oil testing and completion are the "dynamic heart" of deep well engineering. Under the guidance of the new scientific research management model, new research concept and new technology development team, Tarim Oilfield has been facing the goal of localization of key equipment for oil testing and completion in ultra-deep Wells of 8,000 meters since 2017, and has promoted the improvement of the level of localized equipment such as Fuman Oilfield. The domestic application of key downhole tools such as strong magnetic fishing gear and high temperature and high pressure test packers successfully solved the problems of relying on imports of key equipment and long supply cycle of accessories, high acquisition cost and poor technical support.
In order to better achieve technological innovation, Tarim Oilfield broke the departmental and institutional barriers, set up an independent research leading group dominated by enterprise administrative leaders and experts, responsible for unified deployment, core planning and resource integration, under the operation support, research, field implementation of three committees. At the same time, the research entity of "administrative cadres + technical experts + scientific research backbone" has been established to ensure the rapid, reasonable and orderly operation of the project.
Tarim Oilfield actively explores an independent, open, integrated and innovative scientific research system, jointly signs a "China-China" strategic cooperation alliance with Sinopec and CNOOC, and sets up a "1+N" joint research team, integrating the rich field experience of oilfield technicians, the high-level scientific research capabilities of universities and research institutes, and the strong design and research capabilities of technology manufacturers. Promote the localization of key downhole tools. Combined with the actual well conditions, Tarim Oilfield has given priority to carry out independent innovation research with its brother units such as petrochina logging and Chuanqing drilling, and has achieved good results in over 500 innovative designs such as wellbore preparation technology, perforating equipment and test tools.
In order to control the quality of the localization of key downhole tools, Talimu Oilfield has comprehensively standardized the international petroleum and petrochemical standard system, sorted out more than 2,500 standard items of six international authoritative petroleum and petrochemical standard systems, innovated and formed the "extreme working conditions + international standards" tool and equipment evaluation method, and comprehensively improved the soft power of quality evaluation. At the same time, using the "China-China" strategic cooperation alliance platform, the establishment of high temperature and high pressure downhole tool testing center to ensure the safe application of key downhole tools, and promote the oil and gas exploration and development of Talimu to the deep earth.
