Cumulative Gas Production in Liaohe Oil Field Reservoir Group Exceeds 10 Billion Square Meters

As of November 12, the cumulative gas production of Liaohe oil field gas storage group exceeded 10 billion cubic meters, demonstrating Liaohe's role in energy supply protection with a new record.

Liaohe gas storage cluster is one of the six national gas storage centers planned and constructed by petrochina, and the construction of the reservoir cluster has been included in the outline of the national "14th Five-Year Plan", the overall plan to build seven gas storage clusters, and four have been built.

Since the reservoir group began to participate in gas production and supply protection in the winter of 2016, the Liaohe gas storage Group has continuously summarized the experience of winter gas supply protection. Through the upgrading and renovation of gas production equipment and the optimization of operation parameters in different stages, the gas production scale has been continuously expanded and the gas production quality has been improved year by year. In the seventh round of supply guarantee in the winter of 2022 and the spring of 2023, 2.71 billion cubic meters of natural gas was extracted from Liaohe gas storage group, which was 6 times that of the first round of supply guarantee in 2016, and the storage group played a more prominent role in the peak regulation of natural gas in the Northeast and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Since 2019, Liaohe Oilfield has accelerated the implementation of the "10 billion square gas storage" strategy, continued to promote the expansion of old storage and the construction of new storage, Lei 61, double 6 expansion, Shuangtaizi storage group, Ma 19 pilot test and other key gas storage projects have been completed and put into operation, and the number of gas storage has been increasing, and the storage capacity has been expanding. In terms of improving the surface injection and production capacity, multiple sets of injection and production devices of Shuangtaizi gas storage group have been built and put into use, overcoming a series of technical problems such as the field application of domestic compressors and the construction of large-size gas storage Wells, and greatly improving the single-day injection and production capacity of gas storage reservoirs. Liaohe gas storage Group has become the largest single-day gas storage group in China.

On November 8, Liaohe gas storage Group started the eighth round of gas production and supply maintenance work, and the amount of natural gas stored in the storage group reached a record high. At present, the Liaohe oilfield gas storage company is encrypting the inspection frequency of equipment and facilities in accordance with superior instructions and winter supply plans to ensure the high quality and efficient completion of the current round of supply assurance tasks.
