GeoEast2023 has been greatly improved both in function and performance, achieving more accurate, more efficient, more intelligent, more open and more friendly. On November 13, at the 2023 GeoEast Software Application Technology Exchange meeting of the Joint Stock Company, GEOEAST 2023 was officially released, marking a new level of China's geophysical exploration core software and geophysical technology.

Since its development in 2003, GeoEast software has gone through four stages of initial software formation, rapid development, comprehensive improvement and high-quality development, and the software version has developed from the initial 1.0 to 4.0, forming a family of geophysical exploration software products covering land to ocean, ground to well, longitudinal wave to multi-wave, conventional to unconventional, earthquake to heavy magnetoelectric shock. At present, GeoEast software based on the "three communists" cooperation mechanism, a total of 39 co-construction results have been formed, and the ecosystem has been initially built; The interpretation software realizes the large-scale promotion of CNOOC and Huainan Coal mine, and the promotion and application from enterprises to industries. With the support of the "2919" promotion and application project of the Group company, the performance of GeoEast software has been continuously improved and iteratively upgraded. On the basis of continuous deepening of application in the field of exploration, it has been comprehensively extended to the field of development, and strives to realize the integration of exploration and development and seismic and geological engineering based on GeoEast software. Comprehensively support the high-quality development of oil and gas exploration and development.

At present, GeoEast software has been widely used in more than 70 enterprises such as Sinopec and CNOOC, and has been used as teaching software and scientific research platform by more than 30 universities. The application rates of GEOEast in petrochina's processing and interpretation have reached 88.1% and 96.2% respectively, becoming one of the three major geophysical exploration software in the world.
