The New Installation of Pumping Unit Wellhead in Fengcheng Oilfield of Xinjiang Has Improved Significantly

As of February 23, the FHW309UP well in the heavy 32 well area of Fengcheng Oilfield, Xinjiang Oilfield Company, has been in good sealing condition and has been running smoothly for more than 120 days since the installation of the multistage sealing device at the wellhead of the pumping unit.

At present, there are 285 SAGD production Wells in the Fengcheng oilfield, with an average wellhead oil pressure of 1.27 mpa and an average temperature of 120 degrees Celsius. Affected by high temperature and high pressure, the packing of the ordinary packing box is worn faster, and the replacement cycle is short, with the shortest being 5 days and the longest being no more than 14 days. On-site timely use with anticorrosive rod, single well replacement cycle is not more than 30 days.

In order to further extend the coil replacement cycle and reduce the labor intensity of employees, the exploration test of a new wellhead sealing device has been carried out in the operation area since 2021.

At present, 23 sets of wellhead sealing devices have been installed on site. The device can extend the average coil replacement cycle by about 120 days, and increase the average annual production time of a single well by 34 hours. Compared with the combination of "ordinary packing box + anti-corrosion rod", the average replacement cycle of the packing can be extended for about 40 days, and the average annual production time rate of a single well can be increased by 9 hours. The device greatly reduces the probability of packing box leakage, no need to scrub the wellhead frequently, and the employee satisfaction is high.
