Residual Oil Potential of Deep Side Drilling in Dagang Oilfield

On May 6, good news came after side-drilling of the old well of Dagang "double super high" edge bottom water oil field, and then digging the potential. After upgrading the repair pump of female S67-43K well, the daily oil output rose from 2.4 tons to 7.31 tons, and the daily oil increase was 4.91 tons. Since the beginning of this year, the oil field has completed 7 side drilling depths, with a cumulative oil increase of 1,362 tons.

The NV S67-43K well is a side drilling well in the high water flooded area of Shesnusi Bian Dishui Oilfield. Before side drilling, the daily oil production is 2.4 tons with 98.6% water content, and the production has entered the regular decline stage in the late stage of development.

The technical personnel of Dagang Oilfield, guided by the "five non-equals" in reservoir development, put forward the concept that "1 meter away from the oil-water interface is the benefit, 0.5 meters of single sand body is the potential, and the difficult to identify area is also the potential exploration point", and the remaining oil potential of deep drilling side.

Experts from the Research Institute of Exploration and Development of Dagang Oilfield jointly studied and innovated the oil-gas accumulation model at the end of oil-control faults, and comprehensively studied and judged the weak water-flooding potential section of energy development of "double extra-high" edge and bottom water oil fields; Technical personnel carried out detailed multi-objective structural interpretation, multi-layer three-dimensional evaluation and multi-directional dominant water intrusion technical evaluation, and created a multi-parameter review system for single reservoir such as double-parameter and multi-template, and captured a "small and fat" high-quality and high-efficiency potential single sand body in Shahejie Oil Formation. The oilfield factory and the institute jointly completed the reservoir review work of more than 100 Wells in Shesnusi and other oilfields, and optimized the screening according to the characteristics of the side drilling wellbore, explored the potential deeply, and improved the final recovery rate and economic benefits of the late development of "double extra-high" oilfields.
