On May 22, the author learned that the coal-to-oil carbon sequestration exploration project of Shenhua coal-to-oil Chemical Co., LTD., undertaken by the 2149 team of the New geophysical Exploration Management Department, was successfully completed.


This project is a key project of Shenhua coal-to-Oil Chemical Co., Ltd. to realize site selection evaluation and related technical research and deployment around the coal-to-oil plant, aiming to complete site screening and evaluation of million-ton carbon dioxide storage, and provide technical support for the subsequent million-ton CCUS demonstration project.


The 2149 team carried out two detailed reconnaissance trips during the construction to overcome the impact of extreme weather, thoroughly investigated the geomorphic characteristics of the work area, village roads and other conditions, and designed the shot points according to the obstacles, interference sources and lithology distribution in the work area. According to the geological requirements of Party A and the seismic geological conditions of the work area, determine 5 targets for collecting seismic data, formulate technical countermeasures for collection item by item, and establish the overall technical design idea of the project; The combination of well vibration excitation can effectively improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the target layer and improve the data quality.


Technicians carried out detailed surface survey work, deployed a total of 45 micro-logging control points according to the density of 1 point per 2 square kilometers, analyzed the near-surface structure, optimized the depth of shot points, and ensured the excitation energy, laying the foundation for the high-quality and efficient operation of the project.


The dual prevention mechanism of graded safety risk control and hidden danger investigation and management in project implementation, the establishment of four key production safety risk prevention and control responsibility lists, the responsible persons and line managers of key risks and important links are clearly defined, to ensure graded safety risk control and multi-level implementation, and effectively ensure the project safety control.
