The HPHT Lost Circulation Material Evaluation Receiver according to the recommended procedure of  the United States (API), which aims to detect the force required for reverse failure of plugging after  successful plugging, so as to study the structural strength of plugging material.

(1)    Instrument structure

The instrument is mainly composed of base, material barrel, collecting barrel, reverse discharge device, tee and manifold.

(2)    Working principle

The instrument is mainly used to help evaluate the materials used to re-establish the circulation. By using a series of gap plates and beds of different sizes, it can effectively simulate various formations to determine the efficiency of plugging and the volume of leakage before plugging.
